re undiscussed name change

edit

The mining press is not the only kind of RS there is; Google news has 9 results for the new title but for the former title. There are 405 results for "Fenix nickel project" in Googlebooks, and 1,220 results in GoogleBooks for "Fenix mine"

I suggest you move it back, if you can override the redirect now in the way; because of the bot-placed template that appeared on teh redirect I don't think I can do it, as I'm not an admin, using revert in the move log. If you can't I'll contact an admin; the mining industry's most common usage is not viable as a title unless it were also common use in writings about the mine...and it's clearly not.Skookum1 (talk) 09:12, 31 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

More to do

edit

I just expanded quite a lot, and I'm done for now, but there could be more on the lawsuits. The lawsuits might even warrant their own article. A search for "choc v hudbay" on google scholar shows a lot of coverage in law journals and the suit has implications for corporate accountability in Canada for offenses overseas. (Rather like Kiobel or Doe v. Exxon Mobil Corp. in the US). Larataguera (talk) 00:12, 3 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

And obviously geology and better production numbers. (This is almost an article on the conflict as it is, and should possibly be spun off to Fenix mine conflict or something.) Larataguera (talk) 00:21, 3 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
Also just looked over some of the peer-reviewed literature on the conflict (not just the lawsuits), and there's quite a lot. Honestly someone could spend weeks getting this one conflict to FA/GA, and there are thousands of these conflicts. It's a lot to do.... Larataguera (talk) 01:07, 3 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
