Disease or circulatory?
editI removed the disease stub and added a cardiovascular stub, because it seems to me that this is an issue that involves the cardiovascular system only, as all clots do. Of course, I haven't the faintest idea about proper science, so I could be wrong. Thoughts, anyone? Master of Puppets Care to share? 06:25, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- I have restored the disease stub and removed the cardiovascular stub. The cardiovascular stub is for human anatomy, whereas an embolism is a disease/disorder. I will shortly be proposing a split of the disease stub category to include a cardiovascular disease stub. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 21:20, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

editI notice the article doesn't mention the presence of hyperkalemia due to acute renal failure. I'm not sure this is the only lab result that would be affected, so I don't want to edit the main article. Eyknough (talk) 06:14, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

Hello, I'm in medical school, and while reading my class notes on forensics, I noticed that they said that only 10% of people with fat-embolism die, as opposed to 90% like this article says. Can anyone comment on this discrepancy? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.37.58.186 (talk) 00:42, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
