editThis article reads like it was copied from an editorial or a magazine article, but I wasn't able to find an original source for it. It looks like it may have been written by User: Reinagomez22 for a class (see his User page). I see no reason to remove any material here, but it could definitely use a rewrite with citations. - Brian Kendig (talk) 15:39, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
- Aha, I found the original sources - that user had linked them as references. He simply rewrote the original articles, paraphrasing them here, but the sections here contain the same information and much of the same wording as the original articles. That copyrighted material should be removed from this article. The original sources appear to be https://www.stltoday.com/news/pool-riot-pivotal-in-race-relations-city-s-decision-in/article_914ec52e-4be8-5b09-ac98-e71da7160cc6.html and https://www.riverfronttimes.com/stlouis/the-longest-day/Content?oid=2469321. - Brian Kendig (talk) 15:48, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
