FIPS 10 and List of FIPS country codes serve an identical purpose, enumerating FIPS 10-4 country digraphs -- although the two lists are not identical, interestingly enough. Merging the pages would therefore seem appropriate.
It appears that "FIPS 10" is the official name for this set of digraphs, in contrast to regional tetragraphs. An expert will need to confirm this. If so, this page would seem to be the appropriate destination. See also Talk:FIPS 10-4#Merger proposal. –Gerrit Erasmus (talk) 18:04, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
Update needed edit
As this FIPS standard has been withdrawn, the article needs to be updated to refer to the standard in the past tense and the superseding standard needs to be referenced.[1] —Danorton (talk) 18:55, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
