Fair use rationale for Image:TheAlanParsonsProject-EyeintheSky.jpg edit

Image:TheAlanParsonsProject-EyeintheSky.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Chart Position edit

In Canada, the album reached #3 twice (July 10th and 31st) before dropping to #14 and then rising again to #6 (Sept.25). Was charted for 38 weeks. 2001:56A:F414:D300:FCBC:1C53:7B9C:B548 (talk) 03:54, 11 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Airplay of Eye in the sky / sirius edit

I've heard the song without the intro on local radio stations HR1 and harmony fm (Hesse / Germany area) a lot of times, never with the intro before it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.118.22.58 (talk) 20:04, 10 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Nationality of the band edit

Hello @FlightTime:
About my contribution (that you have canceled): many notable contributors of the band were not English (cf. Eye in the Sky (album)#Personnel). So I do not understand why we should write "album by English rock band The Alan Parsons Project" instead of "album by British rock band The Alan Parsons Project".

Well I'd like to see what other editors think. - FlightTime (open channel) 20:52, 15 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

I agree that "British" is correct. That is also what the main page on the band says. Bernhard Fabricius (talk) 11:14, 2 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
