I am starting this review. So far I've done a little copy editing. I have noticed that one source is incomplete.

  • Even Worse - "Weird Al" Yankovic". Billboard.

I will complete the review tomorrow.

MathewTownsend (talk) 23:48, 17 December 2011 (UTC) GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)Reply

  1. Is it reasonably well written?
    A. Prose quality:
Just one question: what does "themed all but one of its parodies" mean in the lede?
    B. MoS compliance for lead, layout, words to watch, fiction, and lists:
  2. Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
    A. References to sources:
    B. Citation of reliable sources where necessary:
One bad reference: Even Worse - "Weird Al" Yankovic". Billboard. No date, no link, no way to figure out what article.
    C. No original research:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
    B. Focused:
  4. Does it follow the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. Is it stable?
    No edit wars, etc:
  6. Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
    A. Images are copyright tagged, and non-free images have fair use rationales:
    B. Images are provided where possible and appropriate, with suitable captions:
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:
Needs only the one reference fixed. And a prose question answered (above). Otherwise it is a wonderful article! Very enjoyable and the sound samples are great! MathewTownsend (talk) 01:03, 18 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
OK, I think I cleared up the two spots that were rough. The lead was poorly questioned, and I tried to re-word it. Hopefully it makes sense now! And the Billboard Visualizer looks like it is missing from the site as well, so I re-wrote that whole section. Hope these changes worked!--Gen. Quon (talk) 18:54, 18 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • I still don't get what "themed all but one of its parodies" means. What does it mean? MathewTownsend (talk) 19:30, 18 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
I was trying to say that all the songs that were being parodied were re-makes of older songs. It doesn't really matter and it is a little confusing, so I just removed it. Hope that fixes it!--Gen. Quon (talk) 23:22, 18 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
It would have been ok if you just said that! But anyway, this is a GA PASS!
Congratulations on a very good article! MathewTownsend (talk) 23:41, 18 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
