March 17

I have not found any substantiation for the March 17 date; the fleet actually left on the 26th. Locally, the date discrepancy's the butt of many jokes regarding the transparency of Massachusetts politicking. The March 17 entry should be modified as well. Libya

Added:

• British Evacuation Day, Libyan anniversary of the final departure of British forces on 28 March, 1970.[3]

Appears there is an American and Italian Evacuation day also in Libya.[4]
