I just changed a bunch of references from Equador to Ecuador. I can't believe there are that many ignorant editors who actually thought that was how this country's name was spelled! There was apparently quite a discussion a couple of years ago about whether or not Wikipedia should continue to perpetrate the error by allowing a redirect page to exist. I would have voted NO then and I still don't think there should be such a page. Better that it be a red link! DutchmanInDisguise (talk) 15:00, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
