The Atlantic Monthly article by Teller about waiting for Enoch Soames is at this page; however, it can only be viewed by subscribers.
Was able to read it just now, despite the fact that I am not a subscriber, so it looks as if this restriction has been lifted. Marjaliisa (talk) 22:23, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
- In The Atlantic Monthly article, Teller describes "an angular man, about fifty, casually holding a tiny camera." That man turned out to be Allan Hailstone, who captured the only known photograph of Enoch Soames, or more likely, if you no longer believe in Santa Claus, someone pretending to be him. I’m going to figure out a way to work this into the article. Viriditas (talk) 23:42, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
