Contested deletion edit

This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because...the pages that it is claimed duplicates are both incomplete and unreferenced. The criterion for deletion states that the page should not "expand upon, detail or improve information within any existing article(s) on the subject". This does not apply here.--Tffff (talk) 06:54, 4 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

If you thing that the other articles are incorrect or incomplete then you should have updated those articles, not create a new article here. Op47 (talk) 21:36, 5 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
Clearly we aren't going to agree on this; I suggest we wait for further opinions.Tffff (talk) 09:56, 6 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Contested deletion edit

This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because there exists another set of articles (such as [1] - which is incomplete, btw) that split the information within this article up into decades. However, no evidence has been presented that this splitting up into decades (or even into years) has any validity, even one of convenience, and it may go against the historical scheduling or organization of the matches.
