Not the first in the world

edit

Alain Berton(France) had already around 1958 developed a series of electrochemical gas sensors, called osmopiles, pile qui sent and he miniaturized it in a portable device, commercialized by Jouan, France. And there have been others. Philips, Netherland, commercialized one from 1965 on. --Havang(nl) (talk) 19:51, 10 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

confusing/irrelevant history

edit

The semiconductor gas sensors have nothing to do with electrochemical gas sensors! why is the history of them mentioned here? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.27.219.8 (talk) 09:38, 23 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
