Talk:Egypt Standard Time

Latest comment: 3 years ago by CapitalSasha in topic Co-linear

In the United States, Eastern Standard Time is not the same as Eastern Daylight Saving Time in the summer when Daylight Saving Time is in effect. In the Eastern time zone, Standard Time means not Daylight Saving Time. This article implies that Egypt Standard Time equals Daylight Saving Time when Daylight Saving Time is in effect. Is this correct? Either way the article should be clearer on this point. — Anomalocaris (talk) 07:47, 14 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Co-linear

edit

From the lead:

...which is exactly the same as Eastern European Time, Central Africa Time and South African Standard Time, and is co-linear with neighboring Libya and Sudan...

-- what does this mean? Is "co-linear" a common word in defining time zones? CapitalSasha ~ talk 15:56, 3 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
