Precipitation in the Midwest edit
The SECC (Southeast Climate Consortium) citation has been removed from this statement:
During La Niña events, the storm track shifts far enough northward to bring wetter than normal winter conditions (in the form of increased snowfall) to the Midwestern states, as well as hot and dry summers.
The SECC Climate Outlook page changes at least twice a year and is not a stable reference. Furthermore, the organization's domain is the Southeast, and there is little about weather in the Midwest to be found anywhere on their web site. I'm not an expert on this subject; maybe someone else can come up with a better ref. Piperh (talk) 06:57, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
Snow in Florida edit
Somewhere on this page should tell about how it snowed during the middle of the night in Florida January 8-10th because of this. There are probably loads of references. Blake (Talk·Edits) 19:29, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
La Nina edit
La Nina descriptions are mixed in with El Nino. Is there a lack of clarity because of this? Should the article's title be changed to reflect this mixed information? Kortoso (talk) 17:33, 29 July 2015 (UTC)
