  • " to Boston, Massachusetts at a" GEOCOMMA after Mass.
  • "in Frederick, Maryland and" ditto after Maryland.
  • After the first mention of his name in the lead, you use "he" eight times in a row, might be worth mixing it up with his surname a little bit for variety.
  • "He held the position for three years" both positions? You previously mention him taking on two roles.
    • The two were always held by the same person. They were essentially just different functions of the same office. Ergo Sum 23:50, 9 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • "November 26, 1840 in Saint John, New Brunswick in modern-day " comma after 1840 and Brunswick.
  • James Bayley or James Roosevelt Bayley? Be consistent.
  • "were surprised by his appointment" any insight as to why?
    • I'm not sure. I could speculate, but the source doesn't really give any indication. Ergo Sum 23:52, 9 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • "were considered lackluster" by whom?
    • Added some minor detail. The source speaks very generally, but it seems to indicate that it was his colleagues; the actual language it uses is "many of his friends and admirers". Ergo Sum 23:55, 9 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • "January 26, 1920 at" comma after 1920.

That's it, nothing drastic here at all. Cheers. The Rambling Man (Staying alive since 2005!) 08:18, 9 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
