"Scottish Gaelic: Glaschu"? edit

That's simply the name for Glasgow itself, isn't it? 86.135.7.222 (talk) 16:57, 4 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Provanhall edit

I checked this article for references about Provanhall. Everyone of them turned out negative. I'm suspecting there is some hoax or original researching happening with this article. Regards, SunCreator (talk) 11:59, 23 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Provanhall is a neighbourhood of Easterhouse, named after Provan Hall. As it has no offical recognition you will find little links or information on it. It is the houses to the north of Glasgow Fort. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Blairtummock (talkcontribs) 16:25, 13 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Easterhouse YMCA edit

It should be remembered that the local YMCA in Easterhouse was effectively working with the young people of Easterhouse during the mid-1960s, along with the little known work done by Lochwood East Church.

There was much more than football on the programme. There was a Boys Club, Judo Club, Boxing, Drama night, Arts and Crafts, Girls Club, Hobbies night, Community Service group, Folks Song Club and a Dance Night with a live band on Sunday evening; the Tardy Host played on 18th September, 1966. Added to those activities for young people there was a Womens Group and a Lunch Club for older residents and, of course, the Saturday night dances. SpanishJohn2 (talk) 18:03, 25 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
