This article is scetchy as there is much more information available on East Hendred. this article focuses almost exclusively on the Eyston family rather than the rest of the history of the village, which should be given more attention, such as the other four manors, especially New College Manor and Kings Manor, the land holdings of the three abbeys after 1214, and the Roman, Saxon and Iron Age sites. The Eyston holdings have mostly been purchased from those manors that were failing financially in the twentieth century. Much of this history is well-documented and readily available. It would be nice to have it all in one place here on Wikipedia! Peaky beaky (talk) 11:05, 8 May 2015 (UTC)

"the most well connected village in Britain"
edit"It was called "the most well connected village in Britain" because of its connections with the railway station in Didcot and the M4 motorway" - Google shows no results for this other than a handful of non-reliable sources that seem to be quoting the Wiki article as the primary reference. I'd suggest removing this line, which reads like something from an estate agent's blurb, unless a proper source can be added (and indeed, that the reference is even worthy).
