Talk:Dynamic infrastructure

Latest comment: 6 years ago by MaxEnt in topic Puff

I know the term Dynamic Infrastructure for data centers has been around for a while but have seen the increase use of the term in many presentations and releases this year. In the past companies have fallen short of delivering the Dynamic Infrastructure solution but with the rapid adoption of virtualization the infrastructure model seems to be leading the architecture direction of IT data centers. It certainly is a valid term but being new to Wiki I welcome any collaboration to strengthen the defintion. (Kbrhouse (talk) 14:56, 12 November 2008 (UTC))Reply

This is a mess. Needs citations, work on promotional tone, updating, at least. W Nowicki (talk) 23:27, 11 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Puff edit

The entire Benefits section could be removed as non-encyclopedic puff.

For now, I trimmed only the final paragraph:

The key to a business and IT infrastructure that is "dynamic" is leveraging technologies, service delivery and acquisition models that optimize the infrastructure for efficiency and flexibility while transforming management to an automated service delivery and management model.

If that isn't a vapid PowerPoint squee, I've never seen one. — MaxEnt 20:11, 8 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
