Since this taxon has at least three "common" names (I came across "White Dryad" in an Rocky Mountains flora recently), not to mention capitalisation problems, this article must be moved to the scientific name, which is unambiguous and unlikely to change. I am only prevented from doing it myself by the edit history at Dryas octopetala. --Stemonitis 10:36, 7 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

These plants have been found in Albert County, NB, Canada. They have also been found in other parts of Canada ^[1] 142.166.80.197 (talk) 18:05, 3 December 2019 (UTC) Gordon JamesReply
