FloridaArmy, you're writing about the sources in the text, and citing them again as if they're not already cited. Several reports were written by the school; there is no need to discuss them, although of course we can use them as sources. This is an article about the school, not an article about the sources.

As for the note from the principal about the secretary, it's a bit lame to include that, which is why it's listed as FR. SarahSV (talk) 23:23, 9 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the explanation. It's worth noting the article that reports on the school were issued. Do you have access to them? If so the article should be greatly expanded with that content. If not we must at least not their existence.
As far as a secretary of one of the most famous African American education leaders being involved with the school and his recommending her, that's obviously worth including. As is the school's inclusion in a colored directory. This was a segregated era and the school's community ties and relationahips such as to business leaders as you very helpfully added are worth inckuding. This is the only way to get a fuller picture of what the school was about and its role. FloridaArmy (talk) 23:30, 9 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
If the source were a note from DuBois, I'd have included it, but a note to him is a bit lame. Also, it says that the school hasn't decided whether to employ the woman. As for the reports, we use three of them as sources. There's no need to mention any of them again in the text, especially not cited separately. SarahSV (talk) 23:48, 9 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
The only content we have from that source is from the summar appearing on its Google Books page. Again, noting that reports were issued on the school is worthwhile since we habe so little coverage of the school and nothing from these reports. Your edit eliminates the tie to DuBois and the school's principal. It's not an improvement. FloridaArmy (talk) 01:01, 10 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
Do you know that the woman ever worked at the school? That would be the place to start. SarahSV (talk) 01:04, 10 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
I found another source, so I'm about to revert myself on that one point, but I'll write it a little differently. SarahSV (talk) 01:07, 10 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
Okay, I see you did a wholesale revert, including not using ref name= again. I'm going to unwatch now, because this is too stressful for no gain. SarahSV (talk) 01:10, 10 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
I didn't do a wholesale revert, I added a source detailing correspondence with Du Bois just as you requested. I also added the principal's full name. This is exactly why it's important to include connections was we fill out the puzzle. The letterhead also includes the V.Principal, treasurer and other school leaders. We are getting somewhere. There are also ties to an Armenia Conference that are interesting, an actual visit and talk by Du Bois, and a rather frosty exchange about advertising in The Crisis and Du Bois" falling out with the NAACP.
