The original vinyl LP contained a very different version of Front Page News as compared to the subsequent CD release. The LP version features lead vocals by Lowell George. The CD version was sung by Bill Payne. The songs, in fact, are very different. The Bill Payne version features much more guitar while, ironically, the Lowell George version features varied keyboard instruments.
