I removed all expressions that I thought might be construed as advertising and added a few more independent references.Jzsj (talk) 14:43, 10 May 2016 (UTC)
- The larger problem here is, in essence, that you are trying to create a directory of Jesuit service centres, notable or not. Your initiative is being discussed on the Conflict of Interest Noticeboard. I would tend to say that this would not be a problem if you were to follow the guidelines, which you are not doing at the moment. In particular, a) You're branding each of your articles with the IHS logo, b) you're trying to make articles for places that are not notable based on references, despite having had this explained to you several times, and c) you're trying to make standalone articles for organizations that are within a larger university or school. Numerous editors (e.g. in the AfD and at COIN) have mentioned this last point, asking "why do we have a standalone article for this?" The AfD discussion is pointing to merge with Xavier univeristy, so that should tell you something. Seeing your 500 article goal on the Jesuits category page, I am now convinced that you are promotionally editing. I would like it very much if you stopped the campaign and started following the rules, as it takes up precious time to nominate your articles for deletion, which I will continue to do until all of the non-notable and inappropriate ones are gone. It would be just swell if you would follow the above policies and save me that time!HappyValleyEditor (talk) 06:10, 13 May 2016 (UTC)
- I'm trying to be more careful about the issues you raise. Please see my responses on the COI Noticeboard.Jzsj (talk) 12:38, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
