Notable residents edit

Before I get labeled a vandal for cleaning up the "Notable residents" section, I would like to explain the reasoning and ask for help in having information in the section sourced. Of all the "notable" names listed in the section prior to cleaning it up, only 3 actually have their own Wikipedia articles, and not one source was provided to support any of the large amount of text that was included in the section, meaning that notability hadn't been established for most of the names in the article. The text itself looks like it was copied from somewhere else and pasted in the article, and most if it wasn't following wikipedia's manual of style and had to be cleaned up to begin with. The text was refering to people by first name and included point-of-view comments like labeling a singer-songwriter as talented. It also seems that for the people that did have wikipedia articles, that there own article was just copied and pasted into this one as well, which didn't sound all that appropriate when all that has to be done is wikilinking the name, and that link would take the reader to their article. What I'm trying to say is it was the fact that all the information was unsourced, wasn't following WP:MOS, and just included copies of other articles which led me to cleanup the section, not any disrespect to the subject or the names mentioned. I have attempted to find sources for the names I removed and have re-added Don MacVicar, Leo Amadio and Neil Amadio with sources to support their inclusion in the article. The only name I have not been able to source and maybe someone else can, or can provide a link for the unsourced info removed is John Curtis Sampson. The fact that he's a singer-songwriter is not in question, as any google search can clearly show he's a notable person, it's that the only results I can find are purchasing links or download links for his music not actual articles to support him being from the community. I have found one article, but it claims he's from Port Morien, Nova Scotia not Donkin, so that article is no help in verifying inclusion in this article. If we can't actually proove someone should be included, it would be better to leave them out until a source can be provided to support them being added to the article.
