  • "attached to direct for over three to four years" I'm afraid I'm not sure I understand that, and "over three to four years" is very odd phrasing.
  • " budgeting concerns. The budget " quick repeat of budget is reptitive.
  • "$1 million; with" no need for that semi-colon at all.
  • "had one to two weeks notice." one-to-two
  • "postponed on two separate occasions," -> "postponed twice"
  • " in Hamburg, Germany on " comma after Germany.
  • "at the Fantastic Fest film festival in" -> "at Fantastic Fest in"
  • " March 3, 2017 via AMC Theatres.[1][2] " comma after 2017 and why is this the only place to use refs? No need assuming this info is in the article and referenced there.
  • Plot is too long. Our MOS recommends between 400 and 700 words, this is currently at nearly 1000.
  • "to "a happy accident."" ref quote and I don't understand what this means.
  • "Mendez'" ->"Mendez's"
  • "project.[11][10] " ref order.
  • Quotes need referencing and when unclear, attribution too.
  • " Jebediah Woodley; his debut in the horror movie" comma, not semi-colon.
  • "Dolph Lundgren in 2015," image caption is fragment so no full stop required.
  • " role "probably" 9–10 months" why "probably"? The lead doesn't say "probably"?
  • "time, but "had it all down"; production " the first part of this is really unnecessary, one would imagine that all professional actors "have it down" before filming. The second part should be a sentence in its own right however, not another semi-colon run-on.
  • "and "maybe a week or two" before " I don't think these kind of quotes are really necessary or enhancing the article. This could be "and about two weeks" in plain prose.
  • "filming; at which point she was cast." no need for semi-colon.
  • " at which point she was cast. This was due to all of the producers disagreeing on who they wanted to play the" odd order. The delay was because of a failure to agree, not the point at which she was cast.
  • " December, 2015" no need for the comma.
  • "in Lexington, Mississippi;[17][10] over " order, no need for semi-colon, it's a comma.
  • "12 days to prep" " again, no quote necessary, just "12 days to prepare" in plain prose is fine.
  • ""20 miles out." [N 3] " ref quote and no space before note.
  • " helpful; and provided the production crew with access to different locations; including t" no need for either semi-colon, lose the first and replace the second with a comma.
  • "Mendez on the filming of Don't Kill It.[11]" fragment, lose the full stop. Same for other box quote.
  • "during which time " at which time, it's a single day.
  • "would "launch sales" at the" another unnecessary quote.
  • Could link Limited theatrical release.
  • Avoid single-sentence paragraphs.
  • "Richard Whittaker, of The Austin Chronicle" lose the comma.
  • Use the {{'}} template for 's after words in italics to prevent the apostrophe crashing.
  • "surface, Don’t Kill It has" italics for film title.
  • "of 92%; based on " delete semi-colon.
  • Again, avoid single-sentence paras.
  • No need to link DIY, I think most readers understand it.
  • Likewise Halloween.
  • "Noel Murray, of the " remove comma. Several of these.
  • " "enjoyable comedic wit"; although "nothing Oscar worthy, it carries Lundgren "a lot farther than you'd expect".[30]" lose the semi-colon and there's an odd number of quote marks here.
  • "Distribution.[32][33][34][6][20]" five (out of order) citations really needed for this single sentence?

That's it for a first pass, so it's on hold. The Rambling Man (Staying alive since 2005!) 10:42, 3 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
