Los Angeles...?

Converse's wife is in Berkeley. Hicks's ship comes in to Oakland. They drive south to LA and spend time around there, but keep going further south and (IIRC) go east into a desert. The little partial bit of description in the last paragraph of "Plot and Summary" is inaccurate. Fishlandia (talk) 22:32, 10 June 2016 (UTC)
