No consensus to move. Vegaswikian (talk) 00:46, 6 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

District 5, Ho Chi Minh CityDistrict 5 – A non-notable band recreated "District 5" years ago, so it is now an unused protected lemma. District 5, Ho Chi Minh City got 277 page views in September. The only other contender for the name that I found was District 5, Düsseldorf, which got 74 views. I didn't see any RS that gave the name of the Düsseldorf district as "District 5", so this may be a semi-original translation of the German name. In contrast, the Ho Chi Minh/Saigon district got 3,260 post-1980 Google Book hits. There are well over a hundred Vietnam-related articles with titles in the form "Foo District" or "District Foo", almost always without a disambiguator. So this move would enhance titling consistency. • Comment there are alot of District 5 / District Five / 5 District / 5th District in the world.65.94.77.11 (talk) 05:51, 30 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
If a "District 5" topic is "in the world", but doesn't have an article on Wikipedia, what do you suggest? Kauffner (talk) 10:52, 30 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • Weak support I want to oppose this because "District 5" on its own just seems too generic a title, as noted above, but the fact is, with only one other contender for the article title existing on Wikipedia, I don't see any other strong reason not to move it at this time. Oppose. Changing my vote from weak support to oppose: Since there are many different articles that could be redirected to a "District 5" page (as noted below), and since, google hits or page views notwithstanding, none of these could rightly be said to be unambiguously recognizable without a geographical qualifier, I'd suggest that the present article stay where it is, and District 5 be created as a disambiguation page to link to all the "District 5"'s that currently exist. --dgeragfyre_ʞןɐʇc 19:35, 4 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
Every U.S. state has several 5th legislative districts. Even in Texas, "District 5" doesn't mean the state senate district. If you Google "District 5", the only topics that rank higher than the Saigon district are some local U.S. school districts. Judging from Insights, it seems that students are typing in something like "school district 5", not realizing that there are many such school districts. We don't have articles about any of these school districts anyway. A disambiguator page where only one of the choices offered is at all likely as a desired topic seems pretty useless, especially when the lemma could be doing something useful as a common name article title.
