In one place we have the Crush 'n' Gusher as using two or three person rafts, while in another we say one person rafts. Which is it? 204.69.40.7 13:49, 12 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

I corrected the "one person raft" to the correct "two to three person raft". Although single riders can ride in a two person raft.

Shark Reef has manta rays? edit

That's a new one on me. I haven't been there in about 10 years, but when I was there, it was nurse sharks and sting rays. NOT Manta Rays... Have they changed? Heck, the Shark Reef was too small for manta rays, they'd suck the oxygen out of the pool and suffocate to death. As for the life jackets, they aren't "if needed", at least when I went there, they were MANDANTORY. The vests are mandantory because they don't want you diving to pet the de-barbed stingrays which stay below where the vest allows you to go. However, I managed to dive down some 20 feet to reach the stingrays and pet a couple for a few seconds. It wasn't easy, the vest made it incredibly difficult.

You are correct they are stingrays not manta rays, I will fix that. The lifejackets are not mandatory now. If you go to the Official Disney website they have a promo video on the shark reef and it doesn't show any of the guests wearing vests. They have 4 lifeguards, including one in the reef, to prevent guests from diving down into the water.Dwtootles 14:07, 14 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Coorrdinates are incorrect edit

Coordinates are wrong. In Google earth the link to the article is placed on the parkinglot of Blizzard Beach.

Coordinates should be roughly: 28°21'57.00" N 81°31'47.00" W —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 62.166.37.118 (talk) 20:43, 22 December 2006 (UTC).Reply

Operating season edit

It is established and cited that the park operates roughly nine months out of the year. The problem is those nine months are not set in stone. Depending on the amount of work needing to be done, the maintenance closures for the two water parks can change from year to year. I've revised the lede and the infobox to reflect that the parks operate year-round, save for a yearly maintenance closure that will take place in either the fall or winter, and that the sister park will be open during that time. This should eliminate the need to change it whenever the schedule changes, and since we are not a travel guide, it's not up to us to provide the up-to-the-moment schedule for the parks anyway. Replace reference 5? edit

It seems like the information that the link in reference 5 is no longer present on the page, and I'm unable to find the information on the page using the Wayback Machine. Might be best to remove the reference or replace it with something else, unless someone else can find the information on the Wayback Machine. Semisoftware (talk) 15:19, 30 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
