I believe the concept of director firing merits its own article, and perhaps not one as oddly centered as this one ( i.e., that the target is moving is not a given). Merging "fire control director" (a specific piece of equipment) with "fire control system" (an encompassing term) is loosely akin to merging Transmission (mechanics) or Internal combustion engine with Automobile DulcetTone (talk) 20:49, 13 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
