Mental Ray edit

This is more then a mental ray shader! And I think that term should be removed since it is too commercial. —Preceding unsigned comment added by LaughingMan (talkcontribs) 19:40, 31 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Cleanup edit

Cleaned up the text, and removed the code snippets. Uthren 19:38, 5 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

The bottles are cool, sure, but this article needs to explain what it's talking about in the first place (the context). Also, is the code necessary? - Tangotango 08:05, 6 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

I edited it a little with my friend, it's more respectable. --66.36.150.181 16:07, 7 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Edited and Remade edit

I edited the whole page with my friend. Now it's much more better.

Still needs cleanup edit

The article still has loads of typos and as a whole is not very easy to understand. I also agree with Tangotango, the code seems very unnecessary. Can't work on the page right now, though. Visit the style guidelines for more info.

No, it isn't easy to understand. I thought this is a physics article until I saw the categories. Samulili 21:54, 17 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Code edit

The code is pretty understandable for those who have a basic knowledge of mental ray. If you have no experiance with the renderer I suggest you do not fidle with the code. These codes are necessary to understand what variables should be changed in the Dielectric Shader to gain the wanted effect.

Thank you. (The One We Call God 01:29, 13 April 2006 (UTC))Reply

I have significant experience using mental ray, and please have the courtesy to not revert my edits in total. I fully belive that anyone using this could find a much better information by simply looking at the documentation, rather than a poorly formatted and awkardly worded list of functions. I've reintroduced several of my edits, while attempting to salvage what I could from the existing text.
