Dhanka

There is some referenced stuff at the Dhanka article which may be relevant to this one, eg: regarding etymology from dhanush and elsewhere. - Sitush (talk) 12:15, 6 June 2019 (UTC)

Nepal

I removed the unsourced claim that they are present in Nepal. I notice that a community called Dhanuk are listed here] but there is no way to determine whether it is the same community or some other one using the same name. In particular, that source does not show them in the Dalit grouping but rather as Janajati. - Sitush (talk) 14:22, 6 June 2019 (UTC)

Dhanuk is not Kurmi, Both cast are different. समता1988 (talk) 13:40, 18 February 2022 (UTC)

In Bihar, Dhanuk is in EBC category while Kurmi is in OBC category. समता1988 (talk) 13:42, 18 February 2022 (UTC)
