XPS 15 9550 Wireless Card
editAll the major reviewers and Wikipedia claim the XPs 15 9550 has a 3x3 WiFi card, but Dell seems have switched to 2x2 WiFi card. See here: http://www.dell.com/us/business/p/xps-15-9550-laptop/pd?ref=PD_OC
I also chatted with one of the customer support reps and they confirmed the XPS 15 has 2x2 WiFI right now. Should we update the Wikipedia article to reflect the changes?

Use of "GB" and "TB"
edit@ThisIsNotABetter: Instead of engaging in personal attacks and making pointless threats to "call a moderator" you might want to first read my edit summaries. The article states clearly that "TB" is used in a decimal sense (1 TB = 1000^4 B) while "GB" is used in a binary sense (1 GB = 1024^3 B). With these definitions, while the stated hard drive capacities in TB are correct, the values in GB are incorrect. Hard drive capacities are decimal multiples of a byte, so the drive in question has a capacity of 256 * 1000^3 B, the correct value. But the article would have us believe that it has a capacity of 256 * 1024^3 B = 275 * 1000^3 B, which is about 7 % too high. I tried to fix this by writing it as 0.256 TB (the correct value) but you object to this change. What is your alternative proposal to correct the error? - Hello, sorry, this is not a personal critic, it's just a thinking about independent arbitrage before your upcoming controversial edits. I can be not a clearly right, but i'm think - Your editions was just looks inaccurate and looks like similar to trolling (0.06 TB is a little silly result). I know about GB and GiB difference, and, maybe, the using of GiB is a better way? ThisIsNotABetter (talk) 05:28, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
- I was reacting to the (apparent) accusation of trolling. Your response makes it clear that this was not your intention and your apology is warmly accepted. Addressing the content I agree that distinguishing between GB and GiB (though discouraged by MOSNUM) is a more elegant solution. I will edit the first couple of paragraphs to see how that looks, and if no one objects we can clean up the rest of the article. Dondervogel 2 (talk) 07:12, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
- I distinguished between decimal and binary prefixes down to (but not including) the XPS 200 series. With your approval (and in the absence of possible objections from others) we can continue from there. Dondervogel 2 (talk) 07:28, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks, that's much better result! ThisIsNotABetter (talk) 17:19, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks. I also prefer it this way. I edited as far as XPS 13 for now. Dondervogel 2 (talk) 18:25, 18 November 2020 (UTC)

update needed
editThe XPA 8960, 13th generation cpu, needs to be added. I don't know enough about it to do it. Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 05:44, 25 July 2023 (UTC)
Description of new models is filled with marketing junk.
editI really feel like this shouldn't be allowed, especially without citing a source. Using marketing claims to describe a product on wikipedia is, in my opinion, slightly dishonest. Wikipedia policy stating that content should be written from a neutral point of view, which all the marketing guff obviously is not. Rowanbird779 (talk) 22:52, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
- By the way, I've edited the bit for the XPS 9440 and rewritten the one for the 9640 using information from the spec sheet. Rowanbird779 (talk) 22:53, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
