Reform Quote edit

Just a note that the Transport Committee Transport - Seventh Report: Parking Policy and Enforcement has similar but different wording for the sixth paragraph of its summary and point 103 of the conclusion and recommendations. Softgrow 11:26, 21 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

And also, to clarify comments in the edit history, note that the Report in Section 5 also has a paragraph 103 which does not mention these points. -De Facto 11:43, 21 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

English Bill of rights arguement edit

"The situation is further complicated by the fact that this latest ruling superficially conflicted with the Metric Martyrs case ruling on the status of the Bill of Rights, but no further appeals are pending"

I was under the impression that there was some kind of case pending on this issue, read about it in one of the newspapers over the summer. The use of the word "superficially" implies that some ruling has occured to stop any further appeal; can anyone confirm, otherwise the use of the word surely represents bias - someone's own opinion on a legal matter. Article out of date, territory is incorrect edit

The correct term is now Civil Parking Enforcement and the relevant legislation is the Traffic Management Act 2004.The relevant territory is England and Wales not the UK, different legislation applies to Northern Ireland and Scotland. --MBRZ48 (talk) 17:25, 26 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
