Regarding notoriety
editIn the applied geosciences this is a most notable event as it only occurs every 10 years. The invited papers and subsequent publication represent an important, citable, historical reference in our industry. A number of articles currently in Wikipedia reference work that is only published in the proceedings of one of the decennial conferences, as do countless articles in learned society journals such as the Society of Exploration Geophysicists 'Geophysics'. Clearing issues
editIanneilmacleod (talk) 21:52, 13 June 2018 (UTC) Nick Moyes (talk · contribs) in raising the issues when the initial stub was flagged, suggested that I could remove issues once I deemed them addressed. I believe the citation of external sources was well addressed, and I removed the issue.
That leaves the notoriety issue (discussed above). I would appreciate a reviewer/editor (perhaps Nick Moyes (talk · contribs)?) looking at this issue and the revised article and let me know next steps. If you are agreeable on notoriety, please do remove the issue tag.
