Talk:Dardistan

Latest comment: 5 months ago by Paristani

The term Darad is ancient and they are the cousins of Aryan Kashmiris. Shina and Kashmiri are also closely related. The truth is this region was often under the control of Kashmir. The Darads during the Hindu period according to the Rajataringini consumed too much alcohol. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.88.88.201 (talk) 19:49, 10 April 2022 (UTC) Reply

Dardistan Valley Division should be renamed from Diamer Division?!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.12.204.2 (talk) 19:09, 26 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Recreating page edit

Full disclosure: I am a volunteer with the Dardistan Project. However my goal is follow all Wikipedia and scholarly conventions. Since Britannica has a separate page for Dardistan, I think Wikipedia should as well. I think this page should eventually flesh out the history of the term as a region, especially in the context of British imperialism. Dardic languages should continue to delve into the validity of the genetic grouping of the languages, which seems increasingly weak. Paristani (talk) 18:46, 19 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
