Article needs checking

This article has had several hoax etc. disruptive edits, and some of that nonsense still remains in the current version (eg. the reference to Vincent Isidro); there are also clear mistakes, such as two different people being mentioned as the original inventor. Someone in the know should go through the article and check that it makes sense — I can't, as I know nothing about the subject. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 06:52, 16 July 2020 (UTC)

Removed hoax edit in lead that was made by an IP user who made fabricated edits, sometimes referring to the same people, in several disparate articles. There may be others but I have no way to recognize them. Donner60 (talk) 04:44, 23 September 2023 (UTC)
