The choice of title edit
Begging the current title Text Processing Utility be renamed to DEC Text Processing Utility, are
- DECTPU is a language, not an application, therefore not a utility. (Rubric is titular except in certain cases, like this one.)
- DEC Text Processing Utility is used as the title of the vendor's manuals, the external links, and the bold text starting the page.
- Word is titled Microsoft Word
We also have Unix text processing utilities. I hope we'll see anything like "text processing utility" reserved for the rubric of text processing utilities in general. — CpiralCpiral 07:25, 24 December 2013 (UTC)
I moved the page and created the redirects to the new title DECTPU and VAXTPU — CpiralCpiral 04:34, 25 December 2013 (UTC)
vitpu edit
Aside from knowing that it appeared on one of the VMS freeware cd's, I find no mention of vitpu anywhere. TEDickey (talk) 23:14, 3 January 2020 (UTC)
