Additional possible uses
editOther possible uses:
- Distributed Computing
- Darn Cat (a.k.a. Damn Cat), from the movies "That Darn Cat!" (1965) and "That Darn Cat" (1997).

- I've added distributed computing to the list. I've decided not to add "Darn Cat", because it seems unlikely that "D.C." will ever be used on Wikipedia for that character in any page aside from That Darn Cat! or That Darn Cat. (In fact, as I write this, it isn't even used on those pages.)
Degree of certainty
editProbability. Degree of certainty or DC, discribes the probability of an event happening.
Disney Channel?
editDisney Channel might soon have DC as a widespread nickname, such as how Cartoon Network is now CN... the reason this might be a use is because an upcoming block on the channel, the "Disney Channel Games", has been named the "DC Games" on a promo. I'm leaving this on the talk page for now, because Google searches on "DC" do not show Disney Channel on top unless "Disney Channel" was also included in the search. --Geopgeop 00:48, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
trim down?
editI recommend a substantial trim down of this list. Disambiguation should be for things actually referred to as "DC" or "D.C"; and users would actually type-in "DC" expecting to find the article. Articles like Dave Coulier, Dawson's Creek, and Diet Coke don't belong IMO, because I doubt people would type in "DC" and seriously expect the article to appear. My suggested litmus test, would be to check the relevant article, and see if "DC" is used anywhere. If it's not, remove it from here. --Rob (talk) 06:04, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- Makes complete sense, hence, the main reason why I tagged this article for cleanup. The revamp should be more or less like this. Thoughts? Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 06:09, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
Washington, D.C.
editI thought the District of Columbia was the national capital, and not just 'a popular American city'? It could be regional bias, seeing that I live here and all, but DC deserves more than popular city. --Woogers (talk) 12:59, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
Duty cycle and Diagnostic coverage
editShould be added. 2A00:CA8:A17:960:A5E5:EF26:8E76:620 (talk) 09:39, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
- Duty cycle fails MOS:DABMENTION, and diagnostic coverage fails MOS:DABONE. Paradoctor (talk) 10:14, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
