Is it actually "Cyldon"?
editShould we move the article to Cyldon and create a redirect to it from here? --Ronz (talk) 15:59, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
Requested move

Sources?
editThere appears to be little or no existing documentation concerning Cyldon. A Google search comes up with this site and links to several private collectors' web sites (including my own) but nothing else. A search on the BL web site comes up with nothing atall!
The sentence "Cyldon was the brand name for a range of model stationary steam engines, manufactured in Enfield, Middlesex, England between 1947 and 1951 by Sydney S Bird & Sons." or something very close to it appears in many web sites and is probably quoted from a common source (maybe this article). Virtually all other information in the various web sites appears to be descrioptions of examples owned by collectors.
Models
editI have written descriptions in my web site of the examples I own (13/2, 13/3, 13/5), which I have repeated here (suitably shortened in places). I don't have examples of 13/1 or 13/4 in my collection so I can't so the same for those. I could quote informationm from others' web sites but I don't like to do that without the owners' permissions. I've added description and photo of the 13/1. The only one missing is now the 13/4. I still don't have one of these (yet). Any volunteers? ... Roly (talk) 10:28, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
I've now added description of 13/4 :-) Roly (talk) 08:23, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
