Range confusion
editDifferent sources disagree on this plant's range: there's general agreement that it's found in Madagascar (obviously!), Comoros and Mayotte, and along coastal East Africa; the Seychelles are also included in most sources, and Mauritius in some (but possibly as an introduction). However, de Laubenfels and Adema very clearly state it is also found in Sri Lanka (with a map that also appears to include the Seychelles and Maldives, but not Mauritius or Reunion), but the Cycas circinalis article has an unsourced claim that the only gymnosperm on Sri Lanka is C. circinalis. I've tried to reflect this in the text and range map, but it really needs an expert's attention. polypompholyx (talk) 09:57, 18 April 2019 (UTC)
