Please perform a history merge from Kambam, as I performed a cut-paste move. Thanking You, AltruismTo talk 06:32, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

An interesting fact I observed is that Cumbum, Tamil Nadu and Gudalur are towns in Theni district of Tamil Nadu state. In the neighbouring state of Andhra Pradesh there are neighbouring towns named Cumbum, Andhra Pradesh and Giddaluru. Interestingly, Theni district has a large population of migrants from Andhra Pradesh state. Could there be a co-relation? --AltruismTo talk 07:11, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Interesting observation. But, these districts are not adjacent. --GDibyendu (talk) 12:47, 11 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

yes theni districts having large number of telugu peoples and kannadigas , they migrated here in 11 th century because of muslim invasions.. now in kambam majority population is kambalatar ( both telugu and kannada) .. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.92.45.253 (talk) 07:48, 26 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
