Talk:Culture of the Isle of Wight

Latest comment: 2 years ago by Tacyarg in topic Purpose of page

Whilst it is gratifying to see the Brading Haven Yacht Club s one of the most famous in the world, especially over they gurt toffs down at the Bembridge Sailing Club, I fear this maybe a bit partisan. Still good on yer nipper!Streona 01:32, 24 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

TV 12 edit

Link to tv 12 appears to point to the wrong place. I don't know if there is a page about this station, however. It's teletext service is remembered and preserved at http://www.teletext.org.uk/index.php?cat=30_Archived-nbsp~Pages&page=30_Wightext-nbsp~1999 Robirrelevant (talk) 17:14, 10 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Purpose of page edit

It seems to me that it wouldn't be that difficult to integrate most of this page's material back into the main Isle of Wight page, avoiding the need for a separate page?

Agreed. I'm wondering about notability of this subject as there is no indication in the article that "culture of the IoW" has been written about as a specific subject. It reads like original research. Tacyarg (talk) 07:34, 14 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
