DELETE TOPIC?
editWhen I signed on today. Wikipedia gave me a message that this topic was slated for deletion. But I can't see that. Or understand why? Just a quick FYI. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Paxxer (talk • contribs) 19:32, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
Added map
editIt would also be good if we can get the wire frame image of Lot 41 back, it looks like it was only deleted because the copyright status hadn't been recorded.

- The image needs to be reuploaded under an appropriate license (by someone with the permission to do so). We can't simply undelete it, unless you can point to a website which contains the image with a clear statement that it is under an appropriate free licence (GFDL or CC-BY-SA}.-gadfium 19:05, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks gadfium, sorry I wsn't clear at all - I was appealing to the user who uploaded the image to reupload it with the appropriate licence details. I think I've found who submitted it so will contact them directly.-SmokeySteve (talk) 22:01, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
Colin Quincey
editWho is "Colin Quincy"? The SMH is quoting this quincy chap from wikipedia like it's going out of fashion, but let's face it, if they had to print their retractions at the same size as their "quality, in depth news articles" they would have to double the size of the paper....... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.18.22.58 (talk) 03:01, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
- I've added a ref from The Australian.-gadfium 04:55, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
- I tracked down Colin Quincey's book today and have updated page to match reality. -SmokeySteve (talk) 10:18, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
Live Support section ?
editDoes anyone else think that the info about the live tracking/support forum should be expanded into its own section? -SmokeySteve (talk) 07:53, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
Murray Information
editThe section Crossing_the_Ditch#The_Team says they were "...the first to paddle the length of the Murray River". Is this right? The annual Murray Marathon happens every year - while it only covers part of this distance, I would have thought others would have gone to the effort to paddle the full length. Incidentally the article goes on to say "a distance of 2,560 km" but our Murray River article says it is 2,375km long - that's a substantial discrepancy. --jjron (talk) 04:25, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
The Ditch
editWhy is the etymology of The Ditch in doubt? Is there more than one claimed origin? Davidships (talk) 17:13, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
