Mär edit

In the anime called "Mär," there are characters called crossguards that fight to defend their land from the evil Chess Pieces. I think there should be an aricle title "Crossguard (Mär)" to clear this up for fans of the anime. 138.88.117.189 15:44, 11 February 2007 (UTC)Manga_KingReply

Quillon edit

the word qillon redirects here, but this article doesn't explain what a quillon is. We need a diagram of a hilt.

Glasgow museum edit

The article claims a given sword is in "Glasgow Museum". There is no institution by that name - Glasgow has many museums, of which several exhibit swords. The most likely place is Kelvingrove Museum, which has a permanent exhibition of armour, swords, and the like, but a more precise reference is required. -- Finlay McWalterTalk 18:59, 16 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Before "crossguard" edit

If we are defining the Crossguard as something which developed on European swords in the Medieval period, what do we call the same thing from before that period, or elsewhere?
