Stem

edit

The stems of Crepis spp. are round but the vascular bundles typically produce prominent ridges. These ridges are much more prominent compared to Taraxicum spp. (dandelions). --Christopher J Sears (talk) 15:52, 10 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Are the stems on hawksbeards flattened (six or eight sides, maybe?), instead of smoothly round (like a true dandelion)? The pictures I've seen look like this, but I can't find anything that confirms it. WhatamIdoing (talk) 20:10, 7 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Maryies or margies?

edit

The article transliterates "μαργιές" as "maryies". Note the gamma not being written as "g", but as "y". Either the transliteration is wrong, or the original is. 110521sgl (talk) 11:47, 23 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
