Not really blues: it has a chorus, which according to this page (https://weeniecampbell.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=2048.15), uses C# and F#, which are not on the minor pentatonic scale - never mind that Blues songs do not have a chorus. Also it is not in AAB format (at any point) and the link given to say that this the first blues record links through to this page (http://www.redhotjazz.com/firstbluesrecords.html) which not only doesn't list it, but goes on to list several earlier songs, released from 1916.
