Arbitrary section header for old remarks

According to the Friend's special 5/5/2004, the 'first time' word was "period". Seems to be confirmed searching for courtney cox first person to say on US TV. Niteowlneils 18:33, 6 May 2004 (UTC)

Courteney's birthname is confirmed on the IMDB Bio.

Read This

Cox's significant previous lovers include her step-cousin, the rock promoter Ian Copeland and a long-term relationship with actor Michael Keaton from 1989 to 1995.

Read that. This means it's time to call in help from EB.

Ace Ventura and Friends

I'm pretty sure that Friends only started after Ace Ventura was out. This makes sense as "Ace Ventura" was hardly expected to big as big as success as it was. --Saforrest 06:28, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

Questions

Can anyone find out if Nikki Cox is Courtney's half-sister? I heard of it many times, since both are actresses. Also somebody included Courtney Cox as a "notable cherokee descendant", is there proof of that either? And how come the article's name wasn't changed by the fact Courtney Cox married to David Arquette? It looks like more work to do in the article. +207.200.116.68 13:30, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

To answers your questions: 1. No (not her half sister), 2. Probably not (Cherokee). Rito Revolto 06:33, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

Insert non-formatted text here== Surname change? == Shouldn't her name be changed to Courteney Cox Arquette cos isn't that what she's been known as since marrying David Arquette? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Gmanuk2007 (talkcontribs) 21:28, 28 April 2007 (UTC).

My name is godwin and I have lots of first hand info about courtney.I am her cousin e-mail southertrader@yahoo.com.7/15/09 8:27am.
I agree. I mean, I know that Wikipedia puts pages under the title that people best know them for, but Couteney's proper name is Cox Arquette, and she's no longer known as just Courteney Cox. I think the page should be Courteney Cox Arquette. (Grizzwald 01:33, 15 May 2007 (UTC))
"I'll get used to the snoring, just like I got used to saying Courtney Cox Arquette..." - Marge Simpson.
We need to make the change. Is it with a hyphen? StAnselm 13:34, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
No, it's just Cox Arquette (Grizzwald 16:54, 25 May 2007 (UTC))
See, WP:COMMONNAME, it is a Wikipedia naming convention to do the most common name as the article name, not the legal formal name. I've switched it back. When and if she becomes equally or more known as "Courteney Cox Arquette," then it would be time to switch it. IMDB lists her as "Courtney Cox" as does a simple search on Google News of "Courtney Cox." Epson291 22:53, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

According to imdb: "Announced in September, 1999 that her new legal and professional surname would be Courteney Cox Arquette. As a result the cast and producers of her "Friends" (1994) TV show also added "Arquette" to their own names in the opening credits of the 1999 season's premiere episode. Following the death of her father Richard Cox in 2001 she returned to her maiden name professionally." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 152.98.218.25 (talk) 09:38, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

Just in passing

...on first glance, the main pic we have of Courteney appears to show someone poking her in the chest or just about to grope her.Are there any other pictures available to use? Lemon martini 14:27, 10 November 2007 (UTC) 14:26, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

I agree it does... but theres also the whole husbands name spelt wrong on the profile box thing. It says David Aette when his name is David Arquette so the picture thing is only one distrubing part of that area. 68.249.3.217 (talk) 15:34, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

How could have Courteney Cox and David Arquette met during the filming of Scream in 99'?

How could have Courteney Cox and David Arquette met during the filming of Scream in 99' when they clearly played together on Friends in 1996 in "The one with all the jam" where Arquette plays "Malcolm" the guy that is stalking Phoebe. Though separated by glass, they're are even in a scene together. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.110.212.32 (talk) 09:26, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

Scream was released in 1996. Correct & improve (talk) 04:33, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
Are you sure there's an apostrophe after '99'? Call in EB.

Starred in Scrubs?

She did not star in scrubs, only served as a multiple episode guest star. I don't think it's notable to mention in the opening section.--Chrispy4545 (talk) 15:41, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

New food series

Multiple media outlets have reported that Cox and Arquette are planning a new food show and that once completed, it is likely that ABC will air it. Should this be added to the article? Rosestiles (talk) 13:18, 31 December 2009 (UTC)RoseStiles
