The stuff on the states and rulers is nothing new on the internet. This site has many of the German states: ellone-loire.net/obsidian/regindex.html. There are several others out there too (with more and less), but Obsidian's is good. The other stuff about I got was from looking up about the more specific history of the County of Bentheim. Kind of a shame when most of it ended up about Tecklenburg, Lingen, Rheda, and Steinfurt instead (which I got laszy and didn't write much about).
