What's this mean?

Encyclopaedic? I think not. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.23.146.66 (talk) 02:16, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
Cockney?
edit"Difford brought a cockney accent to the way the lyrics were sung which makes it distinctive as well."
It's nothing like a cockney accent, it's a standard "Saaf London" accent. As Gifford is from Greenwich, South London, this is hardly surprising. Although the accent is pronounced, Gifford's diction is clear, and without the normal glottal stops and h-dropping you would expect from cockney. Note in particular that Gifford clearly pronounces the h in "horses" ("she lets loose all the horses"); he sings "I'm seeing *my* reflection" (would be "*me* reflection") etc.92.26.81.100 (talk) 13:10, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
- Sounds like bollocks to me, since South Londoners also drop aitches Marchino61 (talk) 14:03, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
