Could you reference the generic and brand names consistently?

[[File:I found this article much more useful than the "Schedules" articles as those only are naming the chemical names, without some reference as to uses, even if the uses are being used anymore. For a novice in pharmacology, as I am, this article was much more useful. However, it would be REALLY useful if the drugs were kept in a consistent format. With generic names, then brand names listed. A table format would be the most useful. I can't find anything close to this table on the internet. Sad, but true. I could put in some edits myself, a I am having to go back and forth to find generic and trade names. But I would feel uncomfortable, I am not an expert. Added citations to GHB section

I added two needed citations to the GHB section. In addition, I noted that GHB has medicinal uses in addition to anesthesia and that the addition of GHB to the Schedule followed adverse effects in recreational users including death.Laura.Freberg (talk) 04:10, 21 February 2012 (UTC)

Article improvements and tag removal

I made what I hope is perceived as improvements and will go back over the article shortly. I added links and reviewed the neutrality as per the tag as well as removing the NPOV and Refimprove tags. U.S. Congress can't pass an Illinios state bill

Due to pseudoephedrine (PSE) and ephedrine being widely used in the manufacture of methamphetamine, the U.S. Congress passed the Methamphetamine Precursor Control Act

U.S. Congress couldn't have passed the Methamphetamine Precursor Control Act -- its wikipedia page says that it is an Illinios state bill. Jkister (talk) 02:38, 10 October 2015 (UTC)

which I had never heard before and—if accurate—goes a long way towards explaining why states have been able to ignore federal marijuana restrictions without more pushback. If someones going to slap a dubious tag on there, let it be someone who's at least glanced at how the template is configured to be used. Someone clearly took a lot of time to explain it so even a novice such as myself can figure it out, I am assuming this is because some editors may insist these sorts of edits only be made by editors willing to invest two seconds in building a quality reference encyclopedia. Can we remove the 'original research' tag? It has three citations. In the future, if you don't have the time or inclination to go through the template documentation someone at the tearoom, among other places, would probably be plenty enthused to assist you. - 55378008a (talk) 12:16, 15 December 2016 (UTC)
