Periods at end of in-line equations edit

Paul Halmos famously did not like them. I can hardly even see the one Oleg put in. Halmos advocated avoided writing sentences ending in an in-line equation, but omitting them when this does happen.---CH (talk) 03:15, 18 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Students beware edit

I created the original version of this article and had been monitoring it for bad edits, but I am leaving the WP and am now abandoning this article to its fate.

Just wanted to provide notice that I am only responsible (in part) for the last version I edited; see User:Hillman/Archive. I emphatically do not vouch for anything you might see in more recent versions.

Good luck in your seach for information, regardless!---CH 23:08, 30 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Can somebody take a look at this article? edit

I just don't think I can trust an article that begins with "Everybody knows that..." Wtf is that shit? srsly? The article is story-like and seems a little opinionated. I appreciate that it's here in the first place I suppose.
