Confluence

edit

The link in the article "Confluence hosted" gives nothing about the site Confluence to host a wiki, it's only the link toward the software. Same thing for "IMeet Central" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.91.248.85 (talk) 02:03, 16 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Brief information about this aspect could possibly be added to their respective main articles (as closely-related details). If you can provide reliable sources, you are welcome to edit these articles yourself. GermanJoe (talk) 05:16, 16 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Missing sites

edit

Miraheze and Shoutwiki are missing in the list. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.91.248.85 (talk) 02:03, 16 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Notable topics need a stand-alone article based on independent sources (see also WP:GNG and WP:WTAF) before they can be added. GermanJoe (talk) 05:16, 16 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

This TABLE needs...

...some love and care :-) It looks terrible and should be reformatted somehow to be more flexible or render separately elsewhere but using Wikidata and image preview placed here - no? Zblace (talk) 11:34, 14 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Wikidot

edit

Wikidot is still running and it offers wiki hosting. Am I wrong? Pier4r (talk) 22:35, 10 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Yep, its still running. I've considered submitting an article about it before, because it should in theory meet all the guidelines AceiusIO (talk) 04:53, 17 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Inclusion of Miraheze / comparing wiki farms with collaboration software

edit

@Pppery: I believe Miraheze should be included in this list per the three conditions listed on Wikipedia:Notability (web)#If the content is not notable. It is of significance to this list. Otherwise, usefulness of this article is questionable at best; if we went through a small spring clean-up, Socialtext and Nuclino should be gone from the table at first glance - one is defunct (for its successor: WP:NOTINHERITED) and the other relies on promo sources in its article. Not to mention we're comparing wiki-focused wiki farms with collaboration software... -Vipz (talk) 20:32, 7 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

This has been discussed numerous times in the archives. The consensus was that only entries with their own articles get listed, and Miraheze is not special enough to break the rules. * Pppery * it has begun... 23:24, 7 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
